YIPS WA – Self, Soft-skills and Strategy Seminar
May 7, 2015 @ 16:00 - 20:00
Join your fellow YIPs to hear Max Noble, present an interactive hour of seminar and discussion introducing a framework for reviewing a young professional’s short term goals, career plan, and personal strengths so that they can gain insight into:
planning where their career should go;
developing the tools to give their career development regular ‘health checks’ and adjustments as they progress;
taking full ownership of their own career development; and
ensuring they make informed decisions about moving their career forward over the short, medium, and long term.
The presentation will be held in an informal, round-table setting and attendees will be given the opportunity to network over a few drinks and nibbles.
Date: Thursday 7 May
Time: 4pm - 8pm
Tickets: $10 for members (sign up or log in as a member to access your discount code) and $15 for non-members.

About the Speaker
Our presenter Max Noble is an executive with over twenty years’ experience in the defense, aerospace and government sectors. Max is currently providing program management services to Synergy. Throughout his career Max has delivered defense and aerospace projects with major international companies such as Boeing, Airbus, and Eurocopter, and more recently has worked within the resource and state government sectors in WA.
Max has spent the majority of his career delivering distressed projects (correcting pre-existing issues with limited resources and limited time). This is now something faced by each and every one of us as companies seek to achieve more with less, particularly within the insurance sector. Initially trained as an engineer, Max has found that inter-personal skills and self-awareness have as much to do with achieving success in the workplace, as the ability for an engineer to perform calculus.
