YIPs NT ran yet another outstanding Northern Territory conference with a record number of attendees.
‘OVERALL, THE 2025 CONFERENCE WAS ANOTHER RECORD-BREAKING EVENT, ATTRACTING 504 REGISTRATIONS AND 464 ATTENDEES’
It was our great pleasure deliver the 2025 Northern Territory Insurance Conference, held from 8–10 October at the Darwin Convention Centre.
Each year, the conference program is designed to address the industry’s most pressing challenges and innovations — ensuring the content remains both relevant and forward-thinking.
Our 2025 theme, ‘Transparency and Trust’, focused on two fundamental pillars of the insurance profession — values that underpin strong client relationships, ethical practice, and long-term business success.
In a sector often defined by complexity and technical language, customers look to us for clarity, honesty, and openness. A lack of transparency can erode trust, damage reputations, and limit progress. This year’s conference sought to confront those challenges directly — empowering our industry to lead with integrity, openness, and accountability.
As usual, the conference content was split into two educational streams covering Personal Injury Management and General Insurance. The conference program was of an exceptional standard, featuring 35 globally and nationally recognised presenters at the forefront of their industries who delivered 23 sessions to delegates.
There was an increase in session attendance, with 124 people in the most popular session and an average of 74 people attending each session.
To conclude the education sessions, former Comic of the Year turned change expert, Marty Wilson added insight, energy, and sharp humour to the big issues—making him the perfect voice to wrap up this year’s theme: Transparency and Trust.
