YIPs ACT Reflections – 2025 Highlights
2025 was a milestone year for YIPs ACT, marked by two standout events that strengthened connection, celebrated talent, and elevated our local insurance community.
Our EOFY Networking Night kicked off the year with a completely packed room despite Canberra’s winter chill. We saw exceptional engagement from young professionals across the region, bringing together brokers, underwriters, claims specialists and service providers for an evening of learning, connection and celebration. With strong support from our sponsors and a refreshed ACT Committee, the event set the tone for a year focused on community, collaboration and professional growth.
Another major highlight was the first inaugural Leaders in Bloom event – an exclusive, invite-only afternoon recognising the ACT’s top emerging insurance professionals. Nominated by senior leaders across the industry, attendees were celebrated for their contribution, leadership and the quiet excellence they bring to their teams and clients. Held behind the gates of Floriade, this event created a genuinely special atmosphere and quickly became one of the most meaningful moments of our year.
As we look ahead to 2026, the ACT Committee is excited to continue building purposeful events that connect, recognise and inspire the next generation of insurance leaders.
